Dr. Ron Archer
Rachel is a solution driven leader with over 25 years of experience in the Fashion Industry as a Fabric Research and Developer working for companies like Ann Taylor, Victoria’s Secret, Walmart and The Children’s Place. She has a demonstrated passion for growing and developing people and organizations having served successfully for 3 years as Program Director for one of the largest chapters in Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the Westchester Chapter.
Rachel also served as Director for Youth at Risk, Inc. in Manhattan, New York City. Her role was to create, implement and manage to inspire transformation for inner city for over 100 at risk youth.
Rachel was ordained in 2009 to the ministry as an Elder/Trustee and Deacon at Hitchcock Presbyterian Church in the Hudson River Presbytery of New York. She also served for 2 years on the Church School Board as well as the Church Nominating Committee.
Rachel’s community involvement extends to her service as Co-Vice President of Voter Services for the League of Women Voters in Westchester County, NY. She was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, attended Beaumont School for Girls and Case Western Reserve University and finished her B.S. Degree at The Fashion Institute of Technology in NY.
In her current role as Chief Operating Officer for Places Of Hope, Rachel has the responsibility for managing and coaching all professionals within the various fields to execute the mission and vision for the ministry.
Additionally, her role is to shape culture which reflects Dr. Archer’s passion for developing transformational servant leaders and high performance work teams.
Cynthia E. Hughes
Cynthia Hughes is a profoundly effective agent of change and a dynamic leader. For the past thirty years she has built three companies around real estate and community development. She will be responsible for managing our community homes for women and men in crisis all over the state of Ohio. Cynthia is a mover and a shaker and knows how to connect the executive suites to the inner city streets for positive sustainability.
All I want to do with my life is to know God and make His mercy and grace known to all.
I want the Place of Hope to comfort the disturbed and to disturb the comfortable.
